The objective of the CMA Entrance Examination is to evaluate whether candidates have mastered technical skills in management accounting, financial accounting, financial management and taxation from the prerequisite courses.

The Entrance Examination is held twice each year, in mid-June and mid-October. The exam is four hours in duration and is comprised of approximately 150 multiple-choice questions.  For more information, please review the Exam Syllabus.

The pass mark for the exam is 60%. Candidates must pass the Entrance Examination to proceed into the CMA Strategic Leadership Program, MBA-CMA, or CMA-CPFA program.

Graduates from the nationally accredited CMA Stream at Mount Allison University and UNB Fredericton may qualify for a waiver of the Entrance Exam.
