MBA-CMA Program

The MBA-CMA Program, offered jointly by CMA Nova Scotia and Saint Mary’s University, is designed to combine the broad business skills of the MBA degree with the accounting expertise and professional skills of the CMA – a combination to create an exceptional career path.

Designed for individuals who are working, courses are delivered through weekend classroom sessions (three Friday/Saturday sessions per semester) and the internet. This design ensures individuals from areas other than metro Halifax can complete the program. After passing the CMA National Entrance Exam, the MBA-CMA Program may be completed within a minimum of 28 months, though it is expected that the majority of candidates will take 32 months to complete their studies.

The Saint Mary’s University Sobey MBA is a nationally recognized graduate management education program. With the addition of the CMA stream, this option has proven tremendously popular for its ability to integrate the content of the CMA Strategic Leadership Program with an MBA program.
