Becoming a CMA

Summary:

Designed exclusively for executives charged with shaping the future of their organizations, the Executive CMA Program brings together a distinguished group of colleagues and moderators from diverse industries and backgrounds to explore and apply emerging business practices. The environment is dynamic, the learning intense.

This part-time program is delivered in a condensed period during which participants will come together for six modules of roughly four days each. Class sizes are restricted to a maximum of 20.

Module content will focus firstly on building a technical-accounting foundation (financial accounting and management accounting), and then pursuing the same six functional competencies and four enabling competencies found in the CMA Professional Program.

Participants from Atlantic Canada will meet in various locations including Moncton, Halifax and St. John’s.  Admission is restricted to university graduates who have a minimum of five years’ qualifying experience in senior strategic leadership positions (examples may include directors, vice-presidents, CFOs, CEOs, etc...).

Program fees are $20,000 and include all program materials, CMA membership fees, and most meals during the classroom program. Fees are paid in two equal installments.
