Strategic Management Accounting Forums

2008 proved to be another successful year for our slate of Strategic Management Accounting Forums.  The series began with a workshop on Strategy Mapping in May that was offered across the country in partnership with CMA Canada. New Brunswick had the highest number of registrants of all of provincial partners! Next on the calendar was International Financial Reporting Standards in September, and concluded with Internal Control in November, which was facilitated by CMA New Brunswick’s own Tom Sullivan, CMA. This was Tom’s second time as forum facilitator and once again received rave reviews.  All of our forums were delivered to capacity or near capacity audiences.

At each of the forums, delegates received a full buffet breakfast and luncheon as well as their choice of complementary CMA merchandise such as wheeled tote bags, USB portable memory sticks, leather portfolios and t-shirts.  Our forum delegates included not only certified members, candidates, and students, but also other business professionals attracted by the relevance and value of these up-scale events.  We were also pleased to introduce a reduced rate for CMA members who attended all three forums.
