In-Class Learning Option

Offered through a partnership with UNB Saint John, the MBA for CMAs recognizes the content of the CMA Strategic Leadership Program at the graduate-level and allows CMAs to complete the MBA in less time. In this program, CMAs qualify for a waiver of the GMAT and advanced standing in six MBA courses (these exemptions are noted on the student’s transcript and are not included in the cumulative GPA):

MBA 7214 (Financial Accounting)
MBA7215 (Managerial Accounting)
MBA 7003 (Prices and Markets)
Three other courses as determined on a case-by-case basis by UNBSJ considering the CMA's study and work background.

The regular full-time MBA program is offered in Saint John in five modules over a twelve-month period. Full-time MBA students take five 2.5 credit-hour courses per module to complete the 62.5-credit program (roughly equivalent to twenty-five 2.5-credit-hour courses) in twelve-months.

CMAs studying on a part-time basis can complete two courses per module to achieve completion of the program (47.5 credits for CMAs) in less than 2 years.
